Built Around the Climb

ClimbingTshirts.co.uk is a small UK climbing brand created around a simple idea: climbing T-shirts should actually feel like they belong to climbing culture.

Not generic outdoor graphics. Not another mountain silhouette with the word “adventure” underneath it.

Designs for people who understand the sessions, the projects, the failed attempts, the breakthrough moves and the slightly obsessive relationship climbers have with grades.

Whether you spend most of your time indoors, outdoors, on ropes or working through problems at your local bouldering wall, climbing has a habit of becoming part of who you are.

That’s what we try to capture in what we make.

Wear Your Grade

The idea eventually developed into our most distinctive collection: The V Series.

V1 to V17.

Seventeen individual marks representing seventeen stages of the bouldering journey.

Each design is deliberately simple, drawing inspiration from chalk marks, movement and the progression that comes with climbing.

The idea behind it is simple:

Wear where you are. Wear where you’re going.

If you’re new to bouldering and wondering what all those numbers actually mean, our guide to the V bouldering grading scale explains how the system works and what the different grades represent.

Climbing T-Shirts Made for Climbers

Climbing has its own language, humour and culture, and our designs reflect that.

Alongside the V-Series, you’ll find a growing collection of bouldering T-shirts inspired by the sport, as well as funny climbing shirts for the side of climbing that probably makes more sense after you’ve spent twenty minutes falling off the same move.

We want the designs to work beyond the climbing wall too.

Something you can wear to a session, to the pub afterwards, travelling to the crag or simply as an everyday T-shirt that quietly says something about the sport you’re into.

Gifts for Climbers

Buying for a climber isn’t always straightforward.

Unless you know exactly which shoes, harness or climbing equipment they use, technical kit can be difficult to buy.

That’s one of the reasons we’ve also built a collection of climbing gifts for UK climbers centred around designs rather than equipment specifications.

They’re made for birthdays, Christmas, climbing partners or simply someone who spends far too much time talking about their latest project.

A Small UK Climbing Brand

ClimbingTshirts.co.uk isn’t trying to become a huge generic outdoor clothing company.

The aim is much simpler: build a distinctive independent climbing brand with designs that climbers recognise and want to wear.

That means continuing to develop original ideas, improving the range and creating designs around the culture that makes climbing different from almost any other sport.

The climbing community is full of different abilities, styles and personalities. You don’t need to climb a particular grade to belong to it.

You just need to enjoy climbing.

So whether you’ve just completed your first problem, you’re chasing your next grade or you’ve been climbing for years:

Keep climbing. Keep progressing. Wear your grade.
